Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Liftoff Inc. (“Liftoff”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our website or use the Liftoff platform.
Information we collect
Account details you give us, such as your name, work email and company.
Workspace content you create, including roadmaps, tasks, comments and release notes.
Usage data such as pages visited, features used, device type and approximate location.
Billing information processed securely by our payment provider. We never store full card numbers.
How we use information
To provide, maintain and improve the Liftoff platform.
To send product updates, security notices and, if you opt in, our monthly newsletter.
To respond to support requests and keep your account secure.
To understand aggregate usage so we can prioritise the right features.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run Liftoff (for example hosting, analytics and payments), under contracts that require them to protect it. We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and delete or anonymise it within 90 days of account closure, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@liftoff.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of Liftoff. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information when you sign up.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Liftoff to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
Don’t attempt to access other customers’ data or disrupt the service.
Don’t resell or white-label the service without a written agreement with us.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your workspace settings; changes take effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Your content
You own everything you create in Liftoff. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content only as needed to provide the service.
Liability
Liftoff is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Cookie Policy
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep Liftoff working, remember your preferences and understand how our website is used.
Types of cookies we use
Essential cookies — required for sign-in, security and load balancing. These can’t be switched off.
Preference cookies — remember settings such as language and dismissed banners.
Analytics cookies — help us measure traffic and improve pages. These are only set with your consent where required.
Managing cookies
You can change your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of Liftoff from working correctly.
